I have had Dale Carnegie’s book How To Win Friend and Influence People on my shelf for a couple of years. At first I skimmed through it, then I put it back on the shelf.
Last month, this book appeared on a list of personal development and leadership books. I then decided to give it a more thorough read. I am approaching it as Carnegie suggested: reading it first, then re-reading it with notes, contemplation, and application.
I thought that creating a summary would help me solidify the ideas. I also thought it would be good to post my chapter summaries in this blog:
If you have read it, use the summaries as a review.
If you haven’t read it, the summaries may encourage to buy and read it (remember, my writing will be only be summaries).
Let me know your thoughts. Most importantly, please share how you are applying any of Carnegie’s principles.
